【Abstract】Veno-arterial extracorporeal membrane oxygenation is a great weapon to save acute heart failure. At present, in most cases, VA-ECMO is perfused through femoral artery intubation, and the external blood flow is opposite to the direction of cardiac ejection, which will increase the left ventricular afterload and lead to left ventricular expansion, which is not conducive to the recovery of cardiac function. This paper reviews the development course of Left ventriculardecompression at home and abroad, summarizes the present situation of left ventricular decompression technology at home and abroad, analysis of left ventricular decompression technology advantages and existing problems, and put forward their own opinions, To analyze the prevention and solution of left ventricular distension in venoarterial extracorporeal membrane oxygenation, may explore better method, improve the success rate of treatment in patients with heart failure.
